Description

Compound spur gear (large gear plus small pinion on one shaft) used in the reduction gear train of a motorised positioning mechanism.

  1. Steps motor speed down to a slower, higher-torque output in pan/tilt and similar positioner gearboxes.
  2. The large gear meshes with the motor-side pinion, and the integral small pinion drives the next stage or the output gear.
  3. Suited as a direct spare for the equipment it was supplied with, or as a pattern or replacement part for similar low-speed positioning drives.
  4. Yellow zinc-plated (chromate-passivated) steel gives corrosion protection for storage and outdoor equipment.
  5. Plain shaft stub on one side and a pinion on the other. Tooth counts and dimensions to be added before listing.
  6. Sold as surplus, as-is where-is. Please match the tooth count, module or pitch and shaft diameter to your original before buying.
Condition Statement

Surplus, unused-looking gear supplied in individual bags inside the carton. The plating is intact, with minor fingerprint marks and blotchy plating colour only. Not tested or fitted by Sunrise Marine. Photos form part of the description.
