Description
Cameron Piston Cup, 1st/2nd Stage, Part No. Z625-078-001. This is a replacement wear and sealing component for Cameron compressors.
- A cup-type sealing element fitted to a compressor piston. It is a consumable wear part, replaced at overhaul.
- Seals the piston against the cylinder wall so gas stays on the correct side of the piston.
- Prevents pressure leaking past the piston (blow-by), which helps the compressor reach its rated discharge pressure and keeps it efficient.
- In a multi-stage compressor, the 1st and 2nd stage cups each hold their stage pressure so the gas is compressed in sequence.
- Typical uses are gas compression in oil and gas production, process and pipeline applications, and industrial compressed air.
