Description

The Gates Quad-Power 4 is a notched (cogged) narrow V-belt that transmits power from a motor to a driven machine through pulleys. It carries high loads on compact drives, such as fans, compressors, crushers, mills and conveyors, and runs cooler than a wrapped belt of the same size.
  • Set of 4 belts, XPB2240 / 5VX886, pitch length 2240 mm. Gates part number 9645-02240.
  • Section XPB (5VX equivalent), top width about 17 mm.
  • Moulded notch on the underside for flexibility and cooler running on smaller sheaves.
  • Marked “Service Free”, meaning the polyester cord construction holds its tension without re-tensioning.
  • Belts are static conductive, oil and heat resistant (marking on the belt).
  • Matches any other belt of the same section and length, so no belt matching is needed for multi-belt drives.
  • Supplied in the original plastic bag, with the belts coiled together.
  • Sold as surplus, as-is where-is.
Condition Statement

Surplus set of belts, unused and still in the original poly bag. Rubber is clean and flexible with intact notches and no visible cracks. The bag shows light handling marks. Stored since 2022 (label date), so check for age before use.
