ABOUT THE SmartSCAN NG² SYSTEM

The Model 2300 NG² Defect Detector is the next generation of the dual microprocessor 2300 NG system, designed to perform all traditional defect inspections. The re-engineered processor package produces radically increased computing power and is fully backward compatible with the over 1,000 NG systems in service on Class I and other heavy-haul railroads worldwide. Southern-tech The NG² replaces the NG Controller Module while retaining the existing chassis assembly — all plug connections are pin compatible, making it ideal for system upgrades and replacements.

The 2300-601 is the NG² Chassis Assembly — the backbone of the complete system. It provides all the necessary connectivity between peripheral equipment and the NG² Controller Module, including the internal system-interconnect board, SOTC presence detection board, solid-state relays, and all sensor connection terminals.

CONDITION NOTES

This unit is brand new and has never been installed or put into service. It was purchased new by BHP Iron Ore Pty Ltd and delivered to their Perth Main Warehouse (Hazelmere, WA) in May 2025. The unit ships in the original STC factory packaging with foam corner inserts. The accessories bag inside the chassis bay remains sealed. There are no scratches, marks, or signs of use on the enclosure.

✅ 30-DAY RETURNS ACCEPTED Item must be returned in the same brand-new, unused condition as received, in original packaging. Buyer pays return postage. Refund issued upon receipt and inspection. Return window closes 30 days from confirmed delivery date. Any sign of installation, modification, or use will void the return.
