Description

  • Cameron Small End Bushing, Part No. Z939-755-002, quantity 1, supplied in an original Zollern carton with the supplier label dated 23 April 2022.
  • A plain sleeve bearing (bushing) pressed into the small end of a compressor’s connecting rod, where the rod connects to the crosshead or piston pin. It carries the load as the pin pivots on every stroke and keeps metal-to-metal wear off the rod.
  • Internal oil grooves distribute lubricating oil across the bearing surface.
  • A wear component, replaced at scheduled overhauls, or when clearances open up, the surface scores or the pin shows wear.
  • Used in gas compression in oil and gas production, process and pipeline duty, and other reciprocating compressors.
  • A fresh bushing at overhaul protects the connecting rod and pin from damage and reduces the risk of unplanned downtime.
  • Supplied in protective plastic and paper wrap. The wrap has yellowed with age, and the carton shows storage wear.
